Howdy Comback Girls (and Boys??)

I  have this Wrap Dress on as I type. And in the most experimental Comeback fashion (pun intended)-and with the Comeback Girl Oath below being one of the top viewed posts (with my Oprah Show ”Jimmy’s–I’ll explain later), I thought I’d play around with comeback girl fall trends and finds.

Your favorite Comeback Girl, moi, has a real woman’s body, even given some of my recent weight loss (10 happy pounds). I am a size 14 and in my comeback transition (16). So if Kimora Lee Simmons says size 6 is the new 24. 14 is the new….the new….damn…I’m not sure they make clothes that big. But whatever it is, it sounds deadly and a little depressing. But nevermind all that. When Couture joins the real world your favorite Comeback Girl will be right here.

(More on Boston Proper www.bostonproper.com): I heard about this site about six months ago. I never knew it existed. Some of the clothes I thought were a little Spiegel European “dusterish” (remember your mama’s old Spiegel catalogs and all the women in their Euro section had on long grey dusters?) ok anywhoooo. I fell in love with this brown wrap dress. And when I saw the model rocking similiar boots I already owned, I thought it was fashion kismet.

Where Are You Going ? Friends Housewarming

Dress:  Boston Proper Medallion Wrap Dress (I’ll post the link soon) $139.00

Makeup: Posner, Black Opal, Cover Girl Lipstick (Mocha) –Can I just say that I have makeup from Mac, Chanel, Bobby Brown- and nothing works like drugstore makeup.CVS to be exact.

Comeback mood: Content

So What Does This Post Have To Do With Your Blog’s Premise ?: I really believe that nothing chases a little loss away like wearing something you like or love.

What The Hell Are You Coming Back From ? Over the last year loss of a major contract, man, and a few friends. But it is really all good. When I started to think about things differently: everything shifted in unbelievable ways like some calculated risk taking, asking for more, preperation, and knowing that its all a test. For real.
