After reading Jill Scott’s interview on divorce, I thought I would make Shalamar’s “Second Time Around” Comeback Girl’s song of the week.
Comeback Girl wasn’t even born when Shalamar’s ‘Second Time Around’ debuted in 1980 (ok I was just a very small toddler, ok so I was 5!!!!) – but its so appropriate that pain including breakups and other precieved losses can inspire great work.
