Comeback Girl is starting to get obsessed with video bloggers/you tubers, particularly women of color. Smart women of color. You know television hasn’t always been a black woman’s friend. Yall know that right? So what happens when the “average jolena” takes internet media and shapes it to re-create her own celebrity and cult following? Well you have Jia out of the ATL. She is so damn funny and ironic. And you tube apparently has tapped her for a partnership project where some of the youtube celebrities are being paid for their blog, including Jia.
This is one of Jia’s tamer video blogs. She laments on everything from sex to those special yoga positions that sometimes have you well….well…farting. She can be provacative-but in an honest “I’m not trying too hard” way. She pushes the envelope. And I like LOVE risk takers who color and play near the edge. Alot of her laments are smart internal conversations, but out loud.

Jia connects with her audience and engages you directly in a CONVERSATION. She understands that youtube is not television!!! Most people simply can’t grasp the fact that the medium works best when you use it like a cell phone instead of trying to fit masterpiece theatre in a 10 minute spot.

im very familiar with Jia’s background and I’m a fan of do-over’s and she doesn’t really hide her history in porn.
