Boyfriend emeritus just informed me yesterday that he is coming home from med school on Friday-tomorrow morning (and not the anticipated tonight as previously discussed) and Mother Comeback informed me that she might be discharged from re-hab (after back surgery) on Friday, same day. Actually her doctors and therapists are meeting today to finalize it. You’re probably like SO!!!!!! We’ll how can I put this for all my delicate Comeback Flowers who read my blog.

My mother isn’t quite ready to go to her home, so that would make her a resident of Comeback Girl Inn. I have no real problems with that-with the exception of timing. I thought Boyfriend emeritus would come home Thursday evening (Tonight) and Mama Comeback perhaps on Friday or right before Christmas which would have given Boyfriend Emeritus and I at least 12 hours alone.

Comeback Girl has some fantasies she’d like to reenact. So how might one do that with all the thoughts of Mama telling me as a teenager-”the only way you will have sex under my roof-is if you’re married” racing through my head.

But what if the roof is mine? And what if I want to play the naughty school girl or the bored librarian ? how is that logistically possible NOW? Even if I was the quiet naughty school girl or the silent bored librarian – its not a fantasy of mine to be POSSIBLY overheard by a prudish mother with amnesia cause I know she got her groove on back in the day.

I thought perhaps we could go to my man’s condo but his brother and his new wife are living there. Maybe we can go to my mother’s freshly rehabbed from the fire house, but its unfamiliar now and looking at all the pictures of me from birth to 18, is a real mood killer. And my childhood bedroom with LL Cool J on the wall is NOT grown and sexy.

With Boyfriend Emeritus and I being totally inseparable for 9 months- I suppose the “honeymoon” is over.
