Comeback Kids I’d first like to preface that I’ve been writing this blog for about 8 months now. Can you believe it? This is my personal journal and insight into my life. I don’t do it for the hits or the adsense. I’m competitive in almost every other aspect of my life. This blog is not about competition.
If it evolves into that, cool. I do have a wish that an agent will happen upon TCG and offer me a six figure book deal and movie options (with Lalah, Rahsaan, Ledisi, Frank McComb, Marcus Miller, Angie Stone on the soundtrack). But for now I am content. They say when you find something you would do for free, you have found your passion. No matter how much I try to escape it or deny it…writing has always been one of them. Telling my own truth is cathartic, and if one other person hears me or hates me, finds their own personal truth in some of my thoughts, well my job here is done.
Now let’s go to the Vineyard.

I heart Martha’s Vineyard. HEART IT. Its one of the most beautiful places in New England. I’m convinced there is NOWHERE you can you go and sit on your porch reading and see Lani Guinier wave to you while on her power walk. Where you can see parts of this country (Chappaquiddick) Chappy still “untouched” at least from a pure development perspective, or see great black film at MVAAFF. And I could never leave out the rich black oral history of the Vineyard (Ink Well), even when that which is written by the historical society leaves alot to be desired.
Here’s to August Comeback Kids.

you got that right… nobody will be reading or does read this blog :p
butt writing develops writing
talking about your feelings develops your own spirit.
so keep writing. I almost jumped through my monitor this opener was so well written. I knew there was a reason I find you so utterly enchanting.
We have similar loves… writing, opinions, theories and your good looks.
marthas vineyard is north of here. I know I cant afford to stay long but if your there and Im not too far away I should come up for the day and see you for as long as I can.
I mean.. whats a vacation without a tall, light eyed, stylish, muscular, single black male who is whimsical yet roguishly charming to share some of that time with?

I have a problem with ladies because I am too nice…. thats what you told me and thats what other brothas tell me and well, its what a majority of women have told me in the past year who have elected to not date me further.
Hey, dont make it like im mean to you girl Im just agreeing with you. you dont care who reads your blog by your own admission.
I think money is the 2nd most popular reason women gave for not wanting to continue to date… they disguesed it with different words “i NEED a man who can travel” or “I worked hard to get this lifestyle and I deserve someone who can take make me not lose it” or and my favorite one “your not aggressive enough in the work place” and last but not least the latest one… a man should be able to pay for all of our dates not just some, your disrespecting me by letting me pay.”
ya theres tons of ways to dress up “need more money” and trust me I have heard lots of them this year… almost 40 times ot be exact!
Im gonna start saving my pennies to come see you in marthas vinyard… that is if you dont think it is the absolute most fun and sexy place to saunter and frollic with your estranged sexy yet roguishly charming jersey suitor
